Newmont Goldcorp Boddington Site Visit

The ACG is facilitating a site visit for attendees only of the International Symposium on Slope Stability in Open Pit Mining and Civil Engineering. Newmont Goldcorp have generously offered their Boddington operations for a site visit and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis as spaces are limited. Payment in full at the time of booking is required and bookings must be placed by 20th April 2020.

 
About the site:

Newmont Goldcorp Boddington (NGB) is a gold and copper mine located in Boddington, 130 km south‐east of Perth within the Saddleback greenstone belt. Construction commenced on the current operation in 2009 and by March 2011 had produced its first one million ounces of gold production.
The operation employs approximately 2,000 employees and contractors, making NGB one of the largest employers in the south‐west of Western Australia.

 
PPE required for site:

Visitors will need to provide their own closed shoes, wear long trousers and long sleeved shirts. No jewellery should be worn on site, apart from a watch. Newmont Goldcorp will supply PPE if required.
