Presentations

Slope Stability 2020 symposium speakers are asked to submit a video recording of your PowerPoint presentation featuring your presentation slides and your voice as you talk through the slides. This recording will be made available online to registered symposium delegates on 12 May 2020. Presentations should be 25 minutes long. Keynote presentations should be 45 minutes long.

Please submit your presentation to the ACG by Monday 20 April in mp4 format. Presentations can be submitted to the ACG Publications Team (publications-acg.uwa.edu.au) by either DropBox (https://www.dropbox.com) or WeTransfer (https://wetransfer.com).

Please ensure that you complete and submit your presenter copyright form by Monday 20 April 2020, as we cannot make your presentation available with this.

There are several options for recording your PowerPoint presentation, including Zoom, Loom, and PowerPoint itself. Zoom and Loom allow you to include a picture-in-picture video of yourself as you present and are both free to download. PowerPoint does not offer the ability to include a picture-in-picture video of the presenter.

Open Access Proceedings

Please note that the 2020 International Symposium on Slope Stability in Open Pit Mining and Civil Engineering peer-reviewed papers will be freely available from papers.acg.uwa.edu.au as of Monday 4 May 2020. A colour, soft-bound printed version of the proceedings will be available for purchase online, post-event.
